Play a song in Spotify's web player (open.spotify.com) in Chrome. With the desktop app, pick Entire screen instead (system audio isn't offered on every computer).
In the picker, choose the Spotify tab and keep "Also share tab audio" on.
You stay on the game. The music plays here about 3 s later, with the road built ahead of it.

Radio
Endless. Tune in to a station (five on the dial, always on air), or keep your own music coming. No fail, no results screen: score and combo sit in the corners, and between songs he just cruises. ←→ or Tab turn the dial while you skate.
